Buena Park, CA – On Thursday, March 19 the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) had three of their Divas join with Knott’s Berry Farm For The Cure to help in getting the word out about breast cancer awareness to help Susan G. Komen of Orange County.

The WWE is a national partner with Komen and Knott’s Berry Farm partners locally with Komen Orange County to help bring awareness to the disease but to also find a cure.
In attendance that afternoon were WWE Divas Cameron (Ariane Andrew), Eva Marie and announcer Lilian Garcia as they stopped on the road to Wrestlemania 31 which is being held this year at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara. They had the opportunity to meet some of the survivors who were helped by Susan G. Komen in the Orange County area. (You can view interviews with the ladies below).
Since 2012, WWE has partnered with Susan G. Komen in support of our mission to save women’s lives and end breast cancer forever. In its three-year partnership, WWE has donated more than $1.2 million to fund breast cancer research, education and screening through its merchandise program during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October.

The Orange County Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen organization was founded in 1991 by a group of individuals committed to the vision of a world without breast cancer. Celebrating its 23rd year, Komen Orange County has raised more than $35 million on behalf of the Komen promise. Seventy-five percent of funds raised are invested in local breast health needs and services. The remaining 25 percent is dedicated to the Komen Award and Research Grant Program to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Komen Orange County is working to better the lives of those facing breast cancer in the local community. Through events like the Komen Orange County Race for the Cure®, Komen Orange County has invested more than $35 million in community breast health programs in Orange County and has helped contribute to the more than $800 million invested globally in research.
